Something Borrowed

May 10, 2010

I don’t even have a moment to breathe right now, honestly—I can’t remember the last time I was this slammed at work, and I need to start making thank you cards, and I still haven’t started my DIY Mother’s Day card! (Yes, I realize that Mother’s Day was yesterday.) But I really miss my little blog, and I’ve been squeezing in time to read Style Me Pretty, so I just thought I’d take a quick break to post a few of the gorgeous photos that I’ve come across on my very favorite wedding site.

From Hudson Valley Wedding on Style Me Pretty, shot by Turn Loose the Art:

Flowers in random silver vintage pieces, like candlesticks and sugarbowls! Ahhhhh!

Flowers and escort cards hanging from tree branches! That’s almost exactly what I want to use in our entryway—I hope mine turns out that gorgeous.

Beatles lyrics, white wood, flowers in silver buckets! I love this wedding.

From Margot and Steve’s Wedding, shot by Henry Shoots (I will forgive him for the mustachioed bride on his homepage, even though mustachioed brides are my MOST-HATED WEDDING TREND OF 2010).

Birdies as escort cards, and mercury glass!

From Danny and Laura’s Wedding, shot by Caroline Ghetes:

Rustic-looking white metal! And is that a big white dahlia I see?

I am so obsessed with flowers in lanterns and birdcages right now.

OK, back to work! Got my flower fix for the day!
